Henry Hu is a Strategic Finance leader driving growth, innovation and sustainability. He brings 25+ years of experience with IBM, 1010Data, and A.T. Kearney.

 

Currently the CFO of Yummet, a Climate Tech company focusing on Carbon Neutrality and Clean Energy, Henry is passionate about scaling innovative sustainability solutions for the Earth and Humanity.  He received executive education on Sustainability Strategy and Circular Economy from the University of Cambridge; and earned ESG Investing certification from the US CFA Institute.  Combined with his MBA degree from Columbia University, master's degree in engineering management from Stanford University, and bachelor's degree in engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Henry has a very strong foundation to help propel Sustainability Solutions.

 

Henry was once the CFO for Strategic Imperatives in IBM Systems, leading teams to support business lines and enabled 3X growth in strategic initiatives revenue (e.g., Cloud Computing and Big Data Analytics) to $4.2B.  He had 15+ years of experience in Finance Planning & Analyses, investment planning and risk management from IBM.

 

A driver for Innovation, Henry was a Principal at IBM Corporate Development Strategy team. He led the launch of 2 IBM innovation centers in Rhode Island and New York City, and 1 Joint Venture in China.  He also enabled the acquisition of Oniqua industrial IOT technology, and supported the $34B M&A of Red Hat for Hybrid/Multi-Cloud technology.

 

A strategic leader, Henry was previously the VP of Strategy and Transformation for 1010data, a PE-owned data analytics tech firm in New York.  He collaborated within the Executive Leader Team to develop and execute new strategies on product, competition and transformation, and turned around the company’s performance within 2 years, realizing double digit growth in revenue and profits.
